Program Overview

Our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Program addresses the critical need for clean water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene practices in Kisii County. We work with communities to construct water points, promote sanitation facilities, and educate on hygiene to reduce waterborne diseases and improve overall health outcomes.

Success Stories

Community Water Project

We partnered with a remote community to construct a gravity-fed water system that now provides clean water to 500 households, reducing water collection time from 3 hours to 15 minutes.

School WASH Program

Our school WASH program installed handwashing stations and gender-separated toilets in 15 schools, improving attendance, especially among adolescent girls.

Open Defecation Free Communities

Through community-led total sanitation approaches, we've helped 8 communities achieve open defecation free status, significantly reducing diarrheal diseases.
